The Solution + My Role at a Glance

As a team of 19 designers from various backgrounds and programs, we developed a comprehensive and unique product offering of three concepts for GPay, alongside the Google Pay team.

The concept I most closely worked on was designed to increase financial visualization and tracking. I worked on the entire UX process from initial research and pulling insights, to initial sketches, then more fleshed out design concepts with Figma. I was also even our MC for our final in-person presentation.

Our project was so well received that not only did we present in front of the president of SCAD and Directors at Google, but we were invited to present to the entire Google Pay team a few months after the class had ended.

Through this project, I learned about the importance of building a team and connecting closely as humans, instead of just a group of individuals. Our ask from Google was also to focus on low to mid fidelity designs, which really forced me to hone in on those skills and continue to strengthen them.

Unfortunately I can't post many more details or designs online, however if you send me a message I'd love to chat about my experience and what we created!
